FRESHMAN (2025)

• Raced in all six meets for the Toreros
• Logged all four of his 8K races between 26:00 and 26:53, including a PR of 26:05.7 at the Highlander Invite (October 18)
• Finished second on the team and 69th overall with 26:36.4 on the 8K course at the WCC Championships (November 1)
• Made his collegiate debut at the Aztec Coastal Classic (August 29), completing the 7K course in 24:04

HIGH SCHOOL

• Attended nearby High Tech High North County in San Marcos, Calif.
• A three-time state cross country qualifier and the 2024 Frontier Conference Champion in the 3200m
• Holds the school record in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, as well as the 5K/3 mile (cross country)
• CIF-San Diego Section Academic Athlete of the Year
• Two-time cross country captain and three-time track and field captain 
• 2023-24 Frontier Track and Field Conference Champions
• Three-time Raptor Award as the team’s MVP in cross country and a two-time Competitive Award winner in track and field ... Also earned a Raptor Award as the team’s track and field MVP 

PERSONAL

• Son of Vera and Jason Gibbons, has a brother, Elijah
• Chose USD because he felt at home, realizing it was a great fit for him, being close to home with amazing academics and a great cross country teams
• Enjoys going to San Diego Padres and San Diego FC games as well as walking around Downtown San Diego
