HIGH SCHOOL
- Competed at Aliso Niguel High School under coach John Walsh
- Earned first-team all-CIF honors as a senior
- First-team all-league as a junior and a senior
- Named runner of the year as a junior and a senior, rookie of the year as a freshman and rising track star as a freshman
- Earned All-America honors in the 4x800-meter relay
- Part of school-record relays in the 4x800 and the 4x1600
- Owns career bests of 14:36 in the 5K, 9:30 in the 3200 meters, 4:20 in the 1600 meters and 1:58 in the 800 meters
- Earned Scholar Athlete, Academic Distinction and Superintendent Honor Roll recognition
