Biography
HIGH SCHOOL
- Competed at Mission Viejo High School under coach Robert Belo
- Earned first-team all-league honors in cross country
- Advanced individually to the CIF prelims and to the state championship meet
- Helped Mission Viejo to a team state meet appearance and two CIF team finals appearances
- Owns career bests of 15:50 in the 5K and 4:27 in the mile
- Carried a 4.65 grade-point average and was named a CIF student-athlete of the year
PERSONAL
- Born to Tom and Crystal Turner in Trabuco Canyon, California
- Mother Crystal ran cross country and track at UC Irvine and competed in the Junior Olympics
- Plans to major in business administration
