SENIOR (2018-19)
- WCC All-Academic honorable mention
- Competed in every tournament and led USD with a 73.9 scoring average
- Registered his best finish of the season at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational, tying for 10th at 8-under (67-72-69, 208)
- Recorded a season-best round of 67 in the first round at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational
JUNIOR (2017-18)
- George Gardner completed his third season with the USD men's golf program
- Named WCC All-Academic honorable mention
- He competed in five tournaments and finished with a scoring average of 75.6
- He tied for 6th place at the Nick Watney Invitaitonal (217, 71-73-73)
- He carded a season-low round of 70 in the third round of the Alister MacKenzie Invitational at Meadow Club in Fairfax, California
SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
- He appeared in eight tournaments and finished with a scoring average of 76.6
- Season best finish of 13th place at Warrior Princeville Makai at 212 (71-70-71)
- Tied for 29th overall at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic at 216 (75-71-70)
FRESHMAN (2015-16)
- Appeared in eight tournaments with a best finish a tie for 15th at the Airstream Adventures Northwest Classic (216, 72-72-72)
- He carded a low round of 70 at the Nick Watney Invitational where he tied for 28th (213, 71-72-70)
HIGH SCHOOL
- George attended Reading Blue Coat School
- He was a member of the England Boys National Squad
- He won the Canadian Junior International Challenge in September, 2014
- He tied for 33rd at the prestigious British Boys Amateur Championship
- The 52nd ranked junior in Europe, he also tied for third at both the Carris Trophy and South Eastern Group Junior Championships
PERSONAL
- Is from Reading, United Kingdom
- Chose USD for a good balance between academics and athletics
- He was also recruited by Georgia State, Auburn and Missouri
- He plans to major in Mathematics
- Besides golf, he enjoys playing tennis, badminton and table tennis, along with listening to music and watching films
