Biography
PREVIOUS SCHOOLS (2022-2025)
- Attended the University of Utah (2022-2024) and Saint Mary's College (2024-2025) before transferring to USD
JUNIOR (2024-2025 AT SAINT MARY'S)Â
- Competed in 11 events during his junior season and finished with a scoring average of 72.5
- Recorded three top-25 finishes, with a season low of 10-under at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, finishing in 18th place
- Finished 24th individually at the El Macero Classic at 5-over-par
- Nakatsukasa was ranked #617th nationally at the end of the season
SOPHOMORE (2023-2024 AT UTAH)
- Nakatsukasa competed in five events and 16 rounds for the Utes during the 2023-24 season
- His best finish came at the John Burns Intercollegiate where he shot two-under and tied for 18th
FRESHMAN (2022-2023 AT UTAH)Â
- As a true freshman, Nakatsukasa competed in all six events for Utah
- Finished the year with the team's second lowest stroke average at 73.0
- Recorded nine rounds of par or better, tied for third most on the roster
- Recorded consecutive 69's in the second and third round of the 2023 Pac-12 ChampionshipsÂ
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended nearby Torrey Pines High School, where he was crowned an Individual State Champion and was also named Freshman of the Year
- Nakatsukasa was the youngest player in the field to qualify for the California State Open in 2018
- Also earned Club Champion honors at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club
