REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2024-25)
  • Earned All-American honors after winning the ITA All-American Championships doubles title with Oliver Tarvet on Sept. 29
  • Competed in his second NCAA Individual Championships, making it to the second round with Tarvet on Nov. 20 as the tournament's No. 1 overall seed
  • Set the USD program record for single-season doubles wins with a 32-8 record, four more than the next best mark
  • After reaching a season-best ITA ranking of No. 1 nationally and spending the vast majority of the season in the top three, Klaassen and Tarvet finished the season ranked No. 13 in the ITA's doubles rankings, the best year-end ranking in program history
  • Was a First Team All-WCC selection in both singles and doubles, also meriting a WCC All-Academic Team pick
  • Went 24-11 in singles on the year, 18-4 in dual match play, 14-1 at the No. 3 position, a streak of 15 straight wins going into the NCAA Tournament Second Round
  • Was 3-0 against nationally ranked opponents during the dual season (wins over No. 82, 92, 51), reaching a high of No. 71 himself in the ITA singles rankings
  • Secured the clinch of the 4-3 win on the road over No. 20 UCLA on Jan. 20 with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 win on court four
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2023-24)
  • Went 22-3 in overall singles competition on the season; a perfect 19-0 in dual match play, 16 of which were won in straight sets
  • Was 27-7 in doubles action, with a 16-match undefeated streak from Feb. 23 to April 26
  • Reached a season-high ITA ranking of No. 15 with Sacchitt Sharrma, qualifying for the NCAA Doubles Championships
  • Defeated a top-25 duo from South Florida on a tiebreak to open the season
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2022-23)
  • Went 18-8 in singles play, including 2-1 against nationally ranked players
  • Went 15-9 in doubles play, in addition to a perfect 6-0 in WCC play
  • Also won a doubles match during the WCC Tournament semifinals to secure a point in a 4-1 win against Portland.
  • Against UCSB in the NCAA Tournament First Round, Klaassen won both his doubles match with Oliver Tarvet and his singles match in the third set.
