REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE - TRACK (2025)

• Competed in seven races for the Toreros
• Finished the season in style with a personal record and a victory in the 1500m at 4:57.50 during the Franson Last Chance Meet (May 9-10) 
• In her first 5000m race of 2025, Kozak finished as the runner-up in 18:29.81 at the Triton Invitational (April 4-5)
• Completed her lone 800m race of the season in 2:31.47, also at the Triton Invitational

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE - XC (2024)

• Competed in five meets for USD
• Opened season at the Mark Covert Classic (Aug. 31), completing the 5K course in 19:41.7
• Shaved off nearly 50 seconds a couple weeks later at the Biola Invitational (Sept. 13), finishing in 18:53.5 to finish 33rd overall 
• Logged her best 6K race of the season at the Highlander Invite (Oct. 19) at 23:07.6

• Competed in four events during the track season
• Won the second heat of the 1500m with a time of 5:05.25 at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Collegiate (March 16)
• Set a PR in the 1500m at 5:00.62, chopping off about five seconds at the Aztec Invitational (March 22-23)
• Finished fourth in the sixth heat of the 800m with a time of 2:30.48 during the Triton Invite (April 5-6)

• Competed at Arizona State on the Women's ACHA Hockey team
• Was Rookie of the Year for the 2022-23 season 
• Tallied 19 points in 23 games

HIGH SCHOOL

• Attended St. Joseph Catholic Academy
• Was a member of the National Honors Society and Spanish National Honors Society

PERSONAL

• Daughter of Rebecca and Bryon Kozak in Kenosha, Wis.
• Has a brother, Dylan and a sister, Mia
• Her cousin is Tyler Herro, NBA superstar with the Miami Heat
• Has another cousin Austin Herro, who most recently plays basketball at South Carolina
• Favorite movies are Interstellar and Good Will Hunting
• Is studying biology, on the pre-dental track
• Favorite food is watermelon
