Biography
SENIOR (2024-25)
- Competed in 11 events for the Toreros
- Opened the season in the Club 4 race, which took fourth place out of 50 teams in the Head of the Charles Regatta (October 21)
- Logged a first-place finish of the 1V4+ boat of the Collegiate 4+ race at the Head of the American Regatta (October 26)Â
- Placed fourth out of 17 teams in the 1V8+ race of the San Diego Fall Classic (November 10)
- Recorded a second place finish with Emily Cary in the Varsity 2- race during the San Diego Fall Classic.Â
- Placed second in both 1V8+ races in the fourth position during the Triton Invite (April 26-27)
- Placed third in the first 1V8+ race of the WCC Championships (May 16-17)
JUNIOR (2023-24)
- All WCC Team selection
- Competed in all six eventsÂ
- Finished ninth out of 40 schools in the Club 8+ race at the Head of the Charles Regatta (October 21)
- Recorded two wins and a runner-up finish in the 1V8+ races at the UCSD Invitational (April 20-21)
- Registered back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Toreros’ 1V8+ boat to end the season at the WIRA Championships (April 27-28) and the WCC Championships (May 18)
SOPHOMORE (2022-2023)
- WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention
- Competed in five races for the Toreros, competing in the 1V8 four times, and the 2V8 once
FRESHMAN (2021-2022)
- Competed in eight of the Toreros' events in the 2V8+ and the V8+
- Raced with the USD 1V8+ at the OSU Invite, the WIRA Championships, and the WCC Championships
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Saint Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, California
- Won the 2019 Varsity Women’s Most Improved Award, was the 2020-21 Varsity Women’s Team Captain, and earned the 2020-21 St. Ignatius All-Brophy Team Award

- Was born in Sydney, Australia to Peter O’Dea and Carmel Galvin
- Katie O’Dea (sister) is a Smith College 21/22 Team Captain and a Scholar All American
Peter O’Dea (father) was a Trinity College Dublin Football Team Captain and played in League of Ireland
Robert O’Dea (uncle) was an All-Ireland Champion in sprints
Brendan Galvin (uncle) was an All-Ireland Champion in hurdles and jumps
