Biography
JUNIOR (2023-24)
- Competed in two events for the Toreros
- Recorded a third-place finish in the 1V4+ “B” boat for San Diego during the WIRA Championships (April 27-28)
PREVIOUS SCHOOL (2022-2023)
- Attended the University of Alabama for her freshman and sophomore years
- Rowed 5-seat in the 1V8+ earning First Place at the 2021 Head of the Oklahoma
- Was part of the 2022 Alabama team that earned 2nd place in the Big 12 Conference Championship, rowed stroke seat in 2V4+ championship race earning 2nd place
- SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll 2021-22
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Lake Oswego High School in Lake Oswego, OR
- Was part of the National Honors Society and National Art Honors Society for her academic success
- Played Club for Nick Haley at Rose City Rowing Club
PERSONAL
- Was born to Michele Barnett and Berkeley Barnett in Oakland, CA
- Her mother, Michele, was Division I volleyball outside hitter and setter at Cornell University.
- Is majoring in sociology
- Started rowing in eighth grade
