Honors & Awards:
• WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll - 2013
Freshman (2012-13): Rowed with the varsity and novice boats... Competed in every race during the fall... Raced in the San Diego Crew Classic, Longhorn Invitational, WIRAs and PCRCs.
High School: Attended Davis Senior High School where she earned two varsity letters in rowing... Competed in the quad at Nationals her senior year... Rowed with the V8 and V4 at NARF and the V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic... Her junior year, rowed with the V8 at Southwest Regionals, where she placed sixth.
Personal: Born in San Francisco, Calif.... Parents are Julie and Gordon Burns... Chose USD because she liked the small school environment and thought the crew team was everything she was looking for... Was also recruited by Saint Mary[apos]s, UCLA and UC San Diego.
