• WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll - 2011, 2012 & 2013
Senior (2013-14): Competed with the V8+ and 2V8... Helped V8+ win WCC Championship and take 15th overall at NCAA Championships... Competed with 2V8 at Longhorn Invite, Pac-12 Challenge, Lake Natoma Invite, and Crew Classic. Junior (2012-13): Competed with the V8... Raced in every event during the fall and every varsity race in the spring. Sophomore (2011-12): Raced with the varsity... Member of the V8 that took first at the WCC Championships. Freshman (2010-11): Raced with the V8... Helped lead the V8 to first place finishes at WCCs and WIRAs... Named to the WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.17 GPA. High School: Attended El Segundo High School where she competed for head coach Zohar Abramovitz... competed with the junior varsity in the fifth seat as a senior where her team took second-place at the San Diego Crew Classic... as a junior competed with the novice A eight squad at stroke as well as the novice A four in the third seat... helped her eight boat finish third at Regionals and her four finish second... also rowed with the Marina Aquatic Center, where her team was national champions in the varsity four... was named to the Honor Roll all four years of high school. Personal: Born June 9th, 1992 in Long Beach, Calif.... parents are Marty and Diane Olson... chose USD because the rowing team and school were a great fit for her personally... was also recruited by USC, California, UCLA, and Oregon State... was named a Presidential Scholar at USD... notes that she loves to dance.
