Biography
PRIOR TO USD (2020-2021)
- Attended Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania where she was recruited to be a swimmer
- Her team did not compete due to COVID-19 but she helped the Owls earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Distinction in both Fall 2020 and Spring 2021
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Santa Catalina School in Corral De Tierra, California
- Swam and played water polo, earning First Team All-Monterey League honors in water polo and six Junior Olympic Qualifiers (2013-2016) and a Speedo Sectional Championships Qualifier (2019) as a swimmer
- 100 Yard Freestyle League Champion Monterey Bay League (2017)
PERSONAL
- Born to Bix Cruz and Joanne Fontanilla
- Earned the High Achievement in Philosophy award in 2019 and was the recipient of the Weston Scholarship in 2019, a black and white film portfolio competition held by the Weston Collective
- Would like to be a lawyer
