Junior (2013-14): Named 2014 WCC Coxswain of the Year... Named to CRCA All-Region Second Team... Was the cox for the V8+ in every race... Helped USD win WCC Championship and take 15th place at NCAA Championships... Part of V8+ that was named WCC Crew of the Month (March)... Earned honorable mention on the WCC All-Academic Team.
Sophomore (2012-13): Coxed with the varsity... Raced in every event during the fall... Coxed the 2V8 at the Longhorn Invitational and San Diego Crew Classic... Also competed in the Oregon State Classic and PCRCs... Was a WCC All-Academic honorable mention selection and a WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll pick (3.22 GPA).
Freshman (2011-12): Primarily guided the novice boats... Coxed the 2V4 at the Longhorn Invitational... Also competed in the San Diego Crew Classic, UVA Invitational, WIRA Championships and Pacific Coast Rowing Championships... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.17 GPA.
High School: Attended Brentwood College School... Earned one varsity letter in rowing for head coach Mark Wismer... Won the Service and Commitment Award as a senior.. Competed with the V4 in the Head of the Lake during her senior year and the V8 as a junior... Raced with the V4 in the Canadian Secondary School Nationals as a sophomore... Also earned three varsity letters in golf, earning Player of the Year honors as a senior.
Personal: Born March 29, 1993 in Medicine Hat, Alberta... Daughter of Shann Snedden and Alan Mayer... Chose USD because of the small classes, Division I athletics, great city, and it's near the ocean... Is a Presidential Scholar at USD... Notes that she loves to travel and spend time outdoors.
