Senior (2012-13): Did not compete in any races. Junior (2011-12): Redshirted in her first season as a Torero. Previous College: Rowed for two seasons at Orange Coast College... As a sophomore, competed with the V8 at NARF, the San Diego Crew Classic, Berg Cup, WIRA, and ACRA... Helped her team take first place in the Berg Cup, San Diego Crew Classic, and the Collins Cup... As a freshman, rowed with the top novice squad at NARF, Crew Classic, and WIRA. High School: Attended Canyon High School... Did not row... Earned three varsity letters in track and field and also participated in basketball and volleyball... Was named Most Valuable Thrower, Thrower of the Year, and Rookie of the Year in track and field... Was team captain in basketball. Personal: Born November 6, 1990 in Placentia, Calif.... Daughter of Debbie Hitomi... Chose to attend USD because of the great academic reputation of the school and the beautiful campus and she has always wanted to say that she was a part of one of the best rowing teams in Southern California... Was also recruited by San Diego State... Notes that she wants to travel the world doing new things and meeting new people... She enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, shopping, and just hanging out with her friends. Major: Communications Minor: Marketing
