Senior ([apos]10-[apos]11): In her second year as a varsity rower for the Toreros. Junior ([apos]09-[apos]10): Helped the Toreros win the WCC and WIRA championships as a member of the varsity squad. Sophomore ([apos]08-[apos]09): Competed as a member of the OCC varsity eight... helped establish the second-best time in the 10K and the fourth-best time in the 6K in OCC history. Freshman ([apos]07-[apos]08): Rowed at Orange Coast College... was part of the first OCC boat to ever make it to Grands at the San Diego Crew Classic... helped lead her boat to a top-10 OCC record for the 2K. High School: Attended Los Gatos High School... as a senior, stroked with the varsity four in the Head of the Charles race in Boston, Mass., helping her team finish 11th our of 73 boats... also stroked the junior varsity eight as a senior... during her junior year stroked with the junior varsity four, which took first at the championships, while also rowing in the third seat with the varsity eight... sophomore year stroked the junior varsity four, helping them earn a second-place finish at the championships, and rowed in the third seat with the varsity eight... stroked for the novice eight as a freshman while taking first at the championships... competed with the Los Gatos Rowing Club, where the varsity boat raced in Nationals multiple times and won Henley in England, while the lightweight boat won Nationals three years in a row. Personal: Born Nov. 4th, 1988 in Fountain Valley, Calif.... parents are Joan and Bill O[apos]Toole... was also recruited by Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, and San Diego State... chose to attend USD because it was close to home, it offered a good study abroad program, it is a small school, and it has a good International Relations program... her uncle, Tom Browning, rowed for the University of Washington... enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping and loves eating at Chipotle.
