SENIOR: Raced in the 2V8+... Competed at five seat in at the Longhorn Invite... Helped crew finish first in the Petite Final at the SDCC in six seat... Sat in three seat for the Dale England Cup... Helped crew place second at the WCC Championships as seven seat.
JUNIOR: Competed in 2V8+ and V8+... Raced in 2V8+ at Clemson Invitational... Helped 2V8+ beat UCLA and place first in Petite Final at SD Crew Classic... Raced in V8+ at the Longhorn Invite.
SOPHOMORE: Competed with the Novice 8... Helped the Novice 8 finish second at the WIRA's... Part of Novice 8 crew that took first place the the Crew Classic... Also competed at the Lake Natoma Invite and helped USD win the Fall Classic and Row for the Cure.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended the Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana for three years... Participated on the varsity swim team for three years and was awarded the "Medal of Honor."
PERSONAL: Born October 5, 1993 in Mexico City to Gabriela and Carlos Fernandez... Chose USD for its beautiful campus, small class size, close-community, academics, and to join her sister who also rows at USD... Grew up in Barcelona, Spain... Notes she has black belt in taekwondo.
