Biography
Senior (2012-13): Rowed on the varsity... Raced with the 2V8 at the WCC Championships... Competed in every race during the fall and every varsity race in the spring.
Junior (2011-12): Rowed with the varsity squad... Competed with the 2V8 that took second in the WCC Championships.
Previous College: Spent three seasons rowing at UC Santa Barbara before coming to USD for law school... As a Gaucho, was named to the ACRA Western Regional Team all three years, while also taking ACRA All-American 2nd Boat honors... Competed primarily with the V8 as a freshman and sophomore, rowing in the San Diego Crew Classic, WIRAs and ACRA... Also took first as part of the V2 at PCRC as a sophomore and second with the V4 at WIRAs as a freshman... Helped lead UCSB to the team[apos]s first-ever win over Loyola Marymount at ACRA during her junior year... As a freshman, competed primarily with the novice 8 and the women[apos]s open 8 at the Crew Classic.
High School: Attended Adolfo Camarillo High School... Did not row... Earned three varsity letters in swimming and two in water polo... Named Most Dedicated on three different occasions between swimming and water polo... Earned the Coaches Award in water polo... Twice earned second-team All-Pacific View League honors in both swimming and water polo... Helped her water polo team make it to the second round of CIF for the first time in a decade... Member of school record-breaking medley relay team in swimming.
Personal: Born March 28, 1990 in Carmel, Calif.... Daughter of Ted and Penny Elrich... Chose USD because the law program is fantastic... Is illustrating a children[apos]s book written by a former coach... Aspires to join the Marines as a JAG officer after law school... Lists her favorite books as 'Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell' and 'Catch-22'.
