Sophomore (2011-12): Rowed with the novice... Competed in the San Diego Crew Classic and WIRA Championships.
Freshman (2010-11): Did not row.
High School: Attended Benilde-St. Margaret[apos]s School... Participated in cross country for three years and track for two... Also competed in hockey and nordic skiing... Was cross country team captain her senior year... Earned Academic Athletic honors.
Personal: Born August 4, 1991 in St. Paul, Minn.... Daughter of Thomas Nelson and Kate Pyzdrowski... Chose USD because she was awarded an academic scholarship and she loved the beautiful campus and weather.
