Sophomore (2013-14): Helped Open 8+ finish fifth as No. 6 seat in San Diego Crew Classic Grand Final Carley Copley Cup. Freshman (2012-13): Raced with the varsity... Competed in every event during the fall... Rowed in the Novice 8 at the Longhorn Invitational... Also competed in the San Diego Crew Classic, Oregon State Classic, WIRAs and PCRCs. High School: Attended Torrey Pines High School and rowed with the San Diego Rowing Club... Rowed in the Head of the American where her boat finished in second place... Competed with the V8 in the San Diego Crew Classic, Long Beach Invitational and the novice quad at the Southwest Regionals... Her junior year, won first place at the San Diego Indoor Classic... Won a variety of novice events in the eight, quad and four. Personal: Born June 13, 1994 in Redondo Beach, Calif.... Parents are Tom and Bonnie Haase... Chose USD because of the size of the school, the academics, the location and the team... Was also recruited by Loyola Marymount, USC, Gonzaga and Boston College... Started rowing as a junior after playing a variety of sports, including soccer, field hockey, basketball, swimming, track, softball and dance... Attended Club Nationals in Indiana during the summer of 2011 and Canadian Henley in St. Catharines, Canada in the summer of 2012. Major: Undecided
