Junior (2011-12): Rowed with the varsity squad... Competed in the Longhorn Invitational, San Diego Crew Classic, UVA Invitational and Pacific Coast Rowing Championships. Sophomore (2010-11): Rowed with the novice 8... Helped the novice 8 take first place at WIRAs... Named to the WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.07 GPA. Freshman (2009-10): Did not row. High School: Attended Rancho Buena Vista High School where she lettered three years in tennis... also earned two varsity letters in swimming... rowed with the San Diego Rowing Club during the summer... was named to the All-Academic team as a junior and senior in addition to being named first-team All-Avocado League and a CIF first-teamer in tennis as a senior... competed on the USTA circuit and was a ranked tennis player in the state of California. Personal: Born September 27th, 1991 in Fort Collins, Colo.... parents are Ron and Carol Forseth... chose USD because it is an empowering place with a strong community and it gives her the opportunity to study in an institution that is a gateway to international work and social justice efforts... aspires to work in a career where she can advocate for human rights... was also recruited by Colorado State for tennis... her cousin, Lindsey, played volleyball at NNU... has traveled to China, Mongolia and Central America... hopes to spend a year in Honduras working at the 'Hogar de Amor' orphanage... notes that she enjoys playing the guitar and surfing.
