Freshman (2012-13): Coxed with the varsity... Coxed the V8 at the WCC Championships... Guided the Novice 8 at the Longhorn Invitational... Competed in every race during the fall and every varsity race in the spring.
High School: Attended the Tabor Academy... Earned three varsity letters in rowing... Won the [apos]88 Bowl as a senior for her teamwork, spirit and passion for rowing... Her junior year, won the Most Improved Cox award... Advanced to the grand finals at NEIRAS in the 2V8 as a junior and 3V8 as a sophomore... Rowed with the 2V8 at NEIRAS as a senior.
Personal: Born June 22, 1994 in New Bedford, Mass.... Parents are Joyce and Mark White... Chose USD because she loved the positive atmosphere and experiences that the school and team have to offer... Was also recruited by Georgetown, George Washington and USC... Graduated from high school Cum Laude... Was a dancer for 14 years and was part of the singing program at Tabor for four years... Trained with Olympic rower Mary Whipple in the summer of 2011 at a Resolute Rowing Camp on Mercer Lake.
