Biography
Freshman (2011-12): Rowed with the novice... In the spring, competed in the WIRA Championships... During the fall, rowed in the Row 4 the Cure, NARF, San Diego Fall Classic and Long Beach Christmas Regatta.
High School: Attended Littleton High School... Participated in cross country and track for three years... Was All-League and All-State in the 400m and sprint medley in track.
Personal: Born October 14, 1992 in Boulder, Colo.... Daughter of Jay and Lauren Smith... Chose USD because she loved the atmosphere USD promised to provide, the people and academics here are top-tier, and she knew with the close-knit academic and athletic community she would receive the personalized education she values... Her grandfather, David Smith, competed in track and field at Oklahoma and her father competed in track and field at Oklahoma and rugby at Colorado... She was a Horatio Alger National Scholar in 2011... She is an equine trainer and competitor- Dressage through Prix St. George Level.
