Biography
SOPHOMORE (2024-25)
- Competed in eight events for the Toreros
- Competed in the fifth spot for the 2V8+ crew in an exhibition against UC San Diego
- Raced in the fifth spot in the lineup for the 2V8+ crew at the San Diego Fall Classic
- Began her season by racing third in 2V8+ crew at the Head of the American Regatta
- Registered two wins in the 2V8+ races competing in the third spot at the Triton Invite (April 26-27)
- Logged a third-place finish in the 1V4+ race of the Oregon State Invite (May 3)
- Placed second in the first 1V4+ race of the WCC Championships (May 16-17)
FRESHMAN (2023-24)
- Competing in five of USD’s six events
- Capped off her weekend at the UCSD Invitational (April 20-21) with a victory in the 1V4+
- Placed second in the first race of the weekend at the WIRA Championships (April 27-28) in the 1V4+
- Logged another 1V4+ second place finish to end the season at the WCC Championships (May 18)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Redwood High School in Larkspur, CA
- Played club for Sandy Armstrong at Marin rowing Association
- Also played water polo, volleyball, soccer and basketball
PERSONAL
- Born to Jessica Grimes in San Francisco, CA
- Her mother, Jessica, played soccer at Whittier College
- Is related to Jairon Frushtick, who played basketball at UGA
- Is considering a major in communications
- Received water polo MVP honors
