Senior (2012-13): Was an All-WCC selection... Rowed with the V8... Competed in every race during the fall and every varsity race in the spring. Junior (2011-12): Rowed with the varsity... Helped lead the V8 to their third straight conference title with a first place finish at the WCC Championships. Sophomore (2010-11): Competed with the V8 and 2V8... Helped lead the V8 to first place finishes at the WCC Championships and WIRAs. Freshman (2009-10): Competed with the novice. High School: Attended Central A&M High School... earned four varsity letters apiece in volleyball, basketball and softball, while also earning one letter apiece in cross-country, track and tennis... was the captain of her volleyball team as a junior and senior and captain of both her basketball and softball teams as a senior... earned all-conference, all-area, and all-academic honors, while also being named Macon County Athlete of the Year... also played with the Illini United Volleyball Club and the Midwest Energy Softball Club... was named an Illinois State Scholar. Personal: Born July 10th, 1991 in Pottsville, Penn.... parents are David and Robin Fitzgerald... chose USD because of the small class sizes, the beautiful San Diego area and the lovely campus... is a Presidential Scholar at USD... she played volleyball in Australia in the Down Under Sports Program and studied in Istanbul, Turkey one summer... one of her relatives, William Faddis, played basketball and football at UC San Diego. Major: Psychology
