Senior (2012-13): Named 2nd Team All-MPSF in the 200 Free... Was a member of two USD record-setting relays- 200 Free Relay (1:32.73) and 400 Medley Relay (3:46.67)... Had the team[apos]s season-best time in the 100 Free (51.53) at the Husky Invitational... Also had the team[apos]s top time of the season in the 200 Free (1:49.04) at the 2013 MPSF Championships
Junior (2011-12): Named second-team All-MPSF in the 200 free... Honored as MPSF Athlete of the Week (Jan. 25, 2012)... Clocked season-bests in the 100 free (52.41), 200 free (1:50.47) and 500 free (4:55.14) in the 2012 MPSF Championships.
High School: Attended Amos Alonzo Stagg High School ... Competed in varsity Track and Field all four years of high school ... team captain for swimming senior year ... Competed at Illinois state championship in 50, 100, and 200 freestyle ... earned all-state honors ... national scholastic all American .... MVP for swimming her senior year.
Personal: Was born on February 11, 1991 to Dina and Kevin of Palos Park, Illinois ... Chose to attend USD because after her trip to USD and the visit with the coach and the team, she felt was a perfect fit and decided to go ... University of Illinois, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Pepperdine, Miami-Ohio, and Indiana.
What is your favorite food in general or pre-swim meet meal?
My favorite food in general is four cheese ravioli, and my favorite pre-swim food is peanut butter pretzels.
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
My favorite place to visit was California, but now I love here. My favorite place to vacation is Maui over the summer with my family. The passion orange guava juice and the Kona coffee is heavenly.
What hobbies do you have?
I have played drums and ran track since 5th grade.
What is your favorite holiday to celebrate?
Christmas, to be able to see all my family.
What do you enjoy most about the USD experience?
The people I have met. Although the swimmers come from all over the country, we join together for one common purpose. I have made friends already this year I know will last a lifetime.
