Attended Richfield High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was a six-time all-conference selection, a three-time all-state selection, a nominee for the 2019 Minneapolis Swimmer of the Year, the 2019 MN State Champion in 100 breaststroke, and the 2020 Athena Award winner
Holds three records at her high school (200 medley relay, 200 IM, 100 breaststroke)
Was her high school's valedictorian, student government president, and National Honor Society President, also earned a Platinum Level Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish
