Junior (2014-15): Set school records in the 50 (23.19) and 100 Free (50.06) and was part of the record breaking 400 medley relay team (3:44.15 with Reierson, Jurries, and Noonan)... Named first team All-MPSF in the 50 and 100 Free... Named second team All-MPSF in the 200 Free... Was named MPSF Athlete of the Week twice (12/22/14 & 1/21/15)... Had career best time in the 100 Fly (57.15) and 200 Free (1:48.87)... Was named team MVP... Earned the "Grit Girl Award"... Named team captain.

Sophomore (2013-14): Named to the All-MPSF Second Team in the 200 Free... Part of 800 free relay team that set school record at 2014 MPSF Championships (7:22.26 with Noonan, Lineback, and Walter)... Swam career bests in the 50 (23.91), 100 (51.38), and 200 Free (1:50.55) at the 2014 MPSF Championships... Competed in 200 Free, 400 Free, 800 Free, and 400 Medley relays at 2014 MPSF Championships.... Named team captain... Named Most Inspirational.

Freshman (2012-13): Was among the top-3 on the team in the 200 Free (1:53.71)... Swam in the 200 Free at the 2013 MPSF Championships.... Named Most Improved

High School: Attended Dougherty Valley High School where she earned four varsity letters in swimming... Was a team captain as a senior... Named second-team all-league her senior year... Swam a 58.54 in the 100 Fly at the Contra Costa County meet... Posted an All-American timme in the 400 Free Relay as a senior... Clocked a 53.22 100 Free at the Contra Costa County meet... Named all-league honorable mention as a junior while setting a school record in the 100 Fly... Also earned four varsity letters in basketball, where she was named honorable mention all-league twice and second-team all-league once... Was team captain of her basketball team as well... Swam with Sportstrong club team.

Personal: Born June 7, 1994 in Pleasanton, Calif... Daughter of Michael and Mitsi Taylor... Chose USD because of the beaitiful campus, the location, and the community feel... Was also recruited by Rider University, Wellesley College and Army and had recruiting interest for basketball as well... Her mother swam at Cal and her father played basketball at Cal... Loves going to the beach, boogie boarding, surfing and hanging out with friends.

What is your most memorable swimming/diving moment? Why? Breaking the 50 Free team record as a Junior because I was not even thinking that was a possibility.

Describe yourself as an athlete and as a student. Extremely driven and hard working.

What piece of coaching and/or personal advice has stuck with you over the years? “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breath, then you will be successful.”

What do you see yourself doing in ten years? Working at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
