Being Captain will make this year very special for me. I love to sprint and I[apos]m ready to go fast! I am excited to beat UCSD again and give Cal Poly a run for their money. As one of the captains, we have many fun and exciting things planned to unite our sisterhood of swimmers even more. I love spending time with the team and hopefully being successful with them will make this season that much more special. What piece of coaching and/or personal advice has stuck with you over the years?
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win. Describe yourself as an athlete and as a student.
I am dedicated to swimming and have been for 16 years. I am compelled to do anything I can do better myself and my team. I am dedicated to swim to the best ability that God has given me. I take after my dad in that he uses his abilities that God has given him to his best ability. I love to sprint and will do anything it takes to be the best sprinter I can be. As a student, I have always been dedicated to be the best student that I can be. I get to learn about the things I want to learn about on the most beautiful campus in the country. This campus and the team motivate me to better myself as a student. Now that I am captain, I have the pressure I need to push me further as a student and an athlete. Quick Hits
