Biography
HIGH SCHOOL
- Competed at nearby Torrey Pines High School in San Diego under coach Richard Contreras
- Won the 200 freestyle relay at the California state relay meet in 2026 in a school-record 1:33.52
- CIF champion in the 50 freestyle in 2025 and runner-up in both the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke in 2026
- Part of the CIF- and school-record 400 freestyle relay at 3:25.45
- Earned All-America honors and made the varsity, CIF and state teams in all four seasons
- Named freshman of the year as a freshman and earned the coaches award as a sophomore, junior and senior
- Owns career bests of 23.58 in the 50 freestyle, 25.63 in the 50 butterfly, 25.74 in the 50 backstroke and 55.75 in the 100 backstroke
- Earned the AP Capstone Diploma along with AP Scholar with Honor and AP Scholar with Distinction recognition

- Swam for Rancho San Dieguito under coach Joe Benjamin
PERSONAL
- Born to Anzhelika and Rick Wietfeldt in La Jolla, California
- Also competed in ice skating
- Plans to major in neuroscience
