HONORS AND AWARDS
- MPSF All-Academic honors (2018)
FRESHMAN (2016-17)
- Competed in the free, back and IM in her first year at USD
- Had four personal best times at the MSPF championships: 500 free (5:07.34), 1650 free (17:29.97), 200 back (2:04.51) and the 400 IM (4:32.62)
- Had the team's best time in the 200 back (2:04.51)
- Had the team's second best time in the 1000 free (10:36.08), 1650 free (17:29.97), and the 100 back (58.97)
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Attended Steamboat Springs High School
- Her high school didn't have a swim program, but she swam for the Aspen Swim Club
- Helped her team win the Western Slope League Championship her junior and senior year
- Notable times from 2015 CA Las Vegas Invite: 100 Fly (59:77), 500 IM (4:39.09), & 1000 Free (10:49.10)
- Notable times from 2015 IA Speedo Sectionals at Iowa: 100 Back (58.69), 200 Back (2:05.66), 200 IM (2:08.80), & 400 IM (4:35.26)
- Given Western Slope League Sportsmanship award her senior year
- Named Aspen Swim Club MVP her junior year
- Ran cross-country for one year where she qualified for the Colorado State Championships
- As XC runner, named Academic All-American
PERSONAL
- Born September 4, 1997 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Jodi and Dave Terranova
- Chose USD for the small class sizes, location, academics, and the swim program
- Was also recruited by Colorado State
- Likes to hike, watch Netflix, read, and hang out with friends and family
- Has two dogs and two cats
What is your most memorable swimming/diving moment? Why?
My most memorable swimming moment is from my junior year when I was behind the blocks with my relay team and we were dancing, singing, having a great time. We ended up swimming really well. It’s my favorite memory because one of the best parts about swimming is having fun with your team.
Describe yourself as an athlete and as a student.
As both an athlete and a student I am very hard working and positive.
