JUNIOR (2025-26)

• 2025-2026 Big West All-Academic Team
• Recorded first her first win of the season in the 1000 yard freestyle race at 10:51.96 in the meet against Chapman and Fresno Pacific (December 6)
• Registered a win in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.70 seconds, in addition to a second place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle event (16:59.00) in the meet against Pepperdine (January 17)
• Logged a third place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle event with a time of 16:49.41 in USD’s first Big West Conference Championship meet (February 14)  
• Finished ninth in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:04.28) during the CSCAA National Invitational Championship (March 15)

SOPHOMORE (2024-2025)

• Her new career best 200 Backstroke race performance is now also the all-time best race in Torero’s history (2:00.84)
• Earned MPSF First-Team honors in 500 Freestyle (4:58.24), 1650 Freestyle (17:09.49), and 200 Backstroke (2:00.84)
• Finished first place in the San Diego State Distance Meet in the 300 Yard Individual Medley
• Led USD with a team-best 17th place finish (1:10.23) at the MPSF Open Swim meet in Long Beach out of 45 competitors in the 5k Open Water race 

FRESHMAN (2023-2024)

• Earned a trio of second place finishes in the 200 yard backstroke, 1,650 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle at home against Utah Tech
• Once again earned a second place finish in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:08.96 in a meet against UC San Diego
• Finished in seventh place in both the 1,650 yard freestyle and the 200 yard backstroke at the MPSF Championships in St. George, Utah
• Was the highest scoring Torero, placing in the top eight, in both 200 and 1650 at the MSPF Championships (2/8)
• Voted 2023-2024 Swimmer of the Year by her team (2/8)

 HIGH SCHOOL

• Attended Hilton Head High School in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
• Competes in distance freestyle, backstroke and open water

PERSONAL

• Born to Heather and Carlton Bruner in Atlanta, GA
• Has a brother, Cohen, who also competes in swimming and diving for Navy
• Is considering a major in Architecture
