Sophomore (2015-16): Earned All-WCC honorable mention in singles for the second consecutive season... Tied for the team lead with 11 singles wins... Went 11-10 in singles, playing at the No. 2 (3-5) and No. 3 (4-1) spots... Was 5-11 in doubles, earning all five wins at the No. 1 spot... WCC All-Academic honorable mention selection.
Freshman (2014-15): Earned All-WCC Honorable Mention in singles and doubles (with Dana Oppinger)... Tied for team lead with 14 singles wins... Went 14-16 overall in singles with an 8-8 record in dual matches... Led the team with 18 doubles wins... Went 18-11 overall in doubles with a 9-8 mark in dual matches at the No. 1 spot (with Dana Oppinger)... Went 9-3 in doubles in tournament play.
High School/Juniors: In her freshman year of high school tennis, was a finalist for doubles in the Sierra League Conference... Honored as Freshman of the Year... In junior competition obtained first place at Flintridge Open, LA Canada Open, and Bakersfield Open... In her sophomore year of high school tennis, was crowned Sierra League Champion in doubles... In junior competition ranked top 10 in Southern California, ranked No. 65 in the nation, and noted as a five-star player on TennisRecruiting.Net for three years in a row... Took first-place titles at Bakersfield Open and Jackie Tatum Open... Junior year of high school crowned Sierra League Champion in singles and became the Inland Valley Player of the Year... In her final year of high school only played competitive junior tournaments... Took home championship title at Anaheim Open and Ramada Open, finalist at Lakewood Open.
Personal: Born Drew Dorothy Spinosa October 28th, 1996 in Upland, CA... Daughter of Kristina and Thomas Spinosa... Chose the Torero program because of the location and atmosphere of the school, plus, enjoys the smaller size of the university... Brother Clarke Spinosa was a record-breaking athlete on the men's tennis team at USD (2010-2014) ... Also recruited by Loyola Marymount, Yale, Baylor, UC Irvine, and Cal Poly... Currently undecided in major.
