Adalee Broadbent

Adalee Broadbent joined the University of San Diego Athletics Department in November of 2024, currently serving as an Associate Director of Academic Services. In this role, Broadbent provides academic advising for student athletes while helping them schedule future classes and be a liaison to the bookstore. She is working with student athletes from men’s and women’s tennis, men’s basketball and baseball.

She comes to USD after being an Athletic Academic Coordinator at UC Irvine for a year where she created beneficial relationships with student athletes to support them with their individual goals, both academically and personally.

However, this is not her first stint on campus. She first came to USD as a student athlete, using her fifth and final year of academic and athletic eligibility, due to COVID, to play soccer in 2022 for the Toreros. During her graduate student year at USD, she started in all 19 games as one of the primary defenders, while playing all 1,710 minutes that season.

Broadbent went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from USD before interning in the Toreros’ athletic department in the Academics and Scholar Athlete Development section.

Broadbent is a Pennsylvania native where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Maryland.
