Leila Khoury serves as a Marketing Graduate Assistant for USD Athletics, where she supports the department through strategic marketing and communications initiatives — promoting assigned sports, planning gameday experiences, creating digital and social media content, and executing campaigns that increase attendance, strengthen the USD brand, and enhance fan engagement.
Before joining USD Athletics, Khoury worked as a Communications Operator for the Phoenix Police Department from July 2024 to July 2025, processing and prioritizing 911 calls as one of the city's primary public safety answering points and coordinating with partner agencies and patrol officers. She previously interned with the University of Arizona Police Department from January to May 2024, observing detective work and police operations and assisting with crime bulletins and campus outreach.
Khoury is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration in marketing at USD. She earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice studies from the University of Arizona in May 2024, graduating magna cum laude, and studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, through the Institute for American Universities in the summer of 2023.
