Las Vegas, NV- The University of San Diego women's basketball team dropped to 1-3 on the season with a 71-55 loss to Georgia Southern Sunday afternoon in the Lady Rebel Shootout hosted by UNLV. The Toreros trailed 44-39 at halftime but would score just 16 more points the rest of the way. San Diego was 5-of-34 (14%) from the floor in the second half. Both Jamie Corwin and Lindsay Helvey reached double-figures in scoring.
