USD claimed a four-game victory over Ohio to win its season opener in first round action of the Sun Devil Volleyball Classic. Freshman Cassie Wolpern killed 18 in her first collegiate match. Devon Forster added 15 and Lindsey Sherburne handed out 53 assists. San Diego won by game scores of (30-25, 30-28, 29-31 and 30-27). USD will face both Utah and Arizona State Saturday.
