SAN DIEGO — San Diego volleyball has announced the signing of libero/defensive specialist Kalli Lipo, who will join the Toreros as a freshman for the 2026 season.
Lipo, who hails from Phoenix, Arizona, attended Desert Vista High School, where she earned All-Conference First Team honors as a Junior, received the Tempe All-City Association Athletic Award, was named her team's Varsity Defensive Player of the Year, and picked up an Honorable mention for the 6A Central All-Region Team. Lipo served as her team's Varsity Captain and was named her squad's Varsity Most Improved Player after the 2023-2024 season.
"Kalli is a well-skilled libero that we are extremely excited to add to our program," said head coach
Jennifer Petrie. "She brings a soft, confident touch in serve-receive, and is the type of player that lifts everyone around her. She leads with a smile every day, and will elevate our gym with her steady, positive energy."
Lipo and the Toreros will begin their 2026 campaign in August.
