The University of San Diego Men's Cross Country team finished in third place at the Triton Cross Country Classic on Saturday. The Toreros top harrier was Dennis Sheehan with a time of 27:09.1, finishing in fifth place. He was followed by Brent Warnken in eighth place with a time of 27:19.8.
Fellow West Coast Conference competitor San Francisco took both the team and individual titles. USF runner Ryan Courtright won the event, finishing in 26:41.5.
The Toreros will now prepare to race at the UNLV Invitational this upcoming Saturday.
