(Pacific Palisades, CA) - USD junior Emma Murphy (Cork, Ireland) continued her solid play of late with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Duke's Celia Deltour today in the first round action of Qualifying Singles at the 2004 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships. The event is being held at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades. Murphy will take on Zsuzana Fodor of Mississippi State in her next match. USD's Lauren Perl lost her first round match today to Chloe Carlotti of Mississippi by the score of 7-5, 6-3.
