FRESNO, Calif - Cassandra Chavez ran a personal best in the tough 6km Woodward park course to pace the USD women to 19th place at the NCAA west regional meet. Cassandra's time of 21:41 also broke the USD 6km school record. The women collectively ran personal bests for the year while competing in an elite field of teams.

The USD men also wrapped up their season at the regional race. The men competed in their first 10km of the season. Senior Brent Warnken was the top finisher for USD finishing 109th in a time of 33:38.
