(Corvallis, OR) - The University of San Diego golf season is underway in Corvallis, Oregon. The Toreros are competing in Oregon State's Northwest Collegiate Classic at the 7,030-yard (par 72) Trysting Tree Golf Club. The Toreros were led by senior Michael Shelly (Tumon, Guam) who shot a 2-under 70 to place in the top-10 after round one. As a team San Diego finished the opening 18 in a tie for 12th at 10-over collectively.
