USD Places 10th at Aztec Invitational

San Diego, CA - The San Diego Toreros competed in the 60th Annual Aztec Cross Country Invitational on Saturday at Balboa Park.  Led by Brent Warnken, who finished in 27th place, the Toreros finished ninth as a team with 248 points.  Warnken was followed by Dennis Sheehan in 33rd place with a time of 27:28.  Tony Krzmarzick, Matt Rutz and Ryan Richter rounded out the top five USD finishes.  Northern Arizona won the team event with five runners placing in the top 20.  Obed Mutanya from Central Arizona won the individual title with a time of 25:02.
