Box Score

(Hilo, Hawaii) - The USD Toreros out-scored Hawaii-Hilo 55-15 en route to winning all five games of a non-conference series with the Vulcans in Hilo. San Diego (5-3) swept Saturday's double-header 10-7 and 5-4. USD third baseman Ryan Lilly hit a go-ahead solo homerun in the sixth inning of game two and Shane Buschini drove in four runs in the opener. Both games Saturday were completed in seven innings.

In game two, trailing 5-4 after Lilly's go-ahead homerun in the sixth-inning, the Vulcans threatened by putting the tying run in scoring position in the seventh. USD reliever Nicholas Cranmer gave-way to Matthew Falk, who retired consecutive batters to earn his second save.
