Northridge, Calif. - The University of San Diego Men's soccer team opened up its 2005 season with a scoreless tie against Dartmouth University this afternoon at the Second Annual Matador Soccer Classic, held on the campus of Cal State Northridge. Lance Friesz anchored the Torero defense, playing the entire 110 minutes and coming up with five saves throughout the match. San Diego improves to 0-0-1, with Dartmouth sporting an identical record for the season.
