San Diego Takes Off for First Conference Road Trip

MORAGA, Calif. - The University of San Diego softball team will travel to Saint Mary's College this upcoming weekend to take on the Gaels. The Toreros are currently 14-16 overall and 2-2 in the PCSC after splitting their weekend opener against Santa Clara University this past weekend.

The Gaels are currently 4-31 overall and 0-4 in the PCSC as they dropped four games against the Portland State Vikings. The Toreros all time record versus Saint Mary's is 20-39, when playing in Moraga San Diego holds a 9-22 record.

Hot-hitters for San Diego include Virginia Fritsch hitting 20-for-59 (.339), Kathleen Bonja hitting 33-for-101 (.327), and Sara Mason hitting 27-for-84 (.321).

The first of the four game series is scheduled for Saturday at noon at Cottrell Field on the campus of Saint Mary's.
