(San Diego, CA) - The USD men's tennis team (3-5) saw their three-match winning streak snapped by the 13th-ranked USC Trojans (8-0) today at the USD West Tennis Courts. The Toreros jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2, but were unable to get a singles win despite playing some very competitive matches. Thomas Liversage and Chris Coetzee of USD got the Toreros off to a great start by knocking off the 24th-ranked tandem of Robert Farah and Kaes Van't Hof, 9-8 (5). Charls Wolmarans and Jonas Mouly also won at No. 2 doubles with an 8-3 win over the USC team of Loucks/Snyder.
