FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The University of San Diego swimming and diving team posted a 176-120 loss to Western Athletic Conference opponent Northern Arizona Saturday morning in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Senior Sarah Gleason finished first place in the 800 freestyle (9:28.79) and the 400 freestyle (4:34.73). Teammate Sarah Geerdes earned a first place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:08.25) and second place in the 50 freestyle (27.33).

Both Jessica Rodriguez and Kristen Yoon had three top-3 finishes. Rodriguez took second place in the 200 individual medley (2:35.32) and the 100 butterfly (1:06.71) as well as a third place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:28.11). Yoon took first place in the 200 backstroke (2:26.21), second place in the 100 backstroke (1:07.21), and third place in the 200 individual medley (2:37.68).

The Toreros return to their home pool on Saturday, January 31, when they host the Beach Cup at 10:30 a.m. at the USD Swim Complex.
