Two Round Results 
(Lakeside, CA)- The USD golf team is in 4th place after two of three rounds at the 2009 Barona Collegiate Cup being played at the Barona Creek Golf Club. USD shot a two-round team score of 714 (360-354) and their 6-under total trails San Diego State (697), New Mexico (709) and Colorado State (711) in the ten team event. USD senior Blake Trimble is tied with two others at the top with a 137 (69-68). He joins Dustin Morris of Colorado State (70-67) and SDSU's Matt Hoffenberg (69-68). Torero Jason Shano fired a five-under 139 (70-69) and is currently in 6th place with one round to go.
Toreros following Trimble and Shano include Alex Ching (t23 at 146; 74-72), Darrin Hall (t27 at 147; 75-72), Ian Coffman (t27 at 147; 72-75) and Gunner Wiebe (t37 at 149; 76-73). Final round play is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
