Round One Results

Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii - The USD golf team jumped out to a first place lead after round one of the 2010 Kauai Collegiate Invitational. USD shot a team score of 281 (-7) and lead British Columbia by five strokes. Torero senior Gunner Wiebe (Denver, CO) scorched the Puakea Golf Coures (par 72; 6954 yards) with an outstanding 6-under par 66. Gonzaga University rounds out the top three with a 295 score in the 10-team event. The 54-hole event will continue Monday and Tuesday with 18 holes each day.

Rounding out USD scoring was Manav Shah (T2 at 71), Alex Ching (T8 at 72), Joe Harrison (T8 at 72) and Scott Brace (T19 at 75).
