The 24th-ranked USD men's golf team finished in 7th place (10 teams) at the 2010 Gifford Collegiate Championship. USD senior Gunner Wiebe (Denver, CO) was the Toreros top finisher at 217 (T11; 76-70-71). Senior Kenneth McCready shot USD's low round of the day (69) and finished tied for 26th at 223 (78-76-69).

Host UCLA, behind medalist winner Patrick Cantlay (207; 67-69-71), won the team title with a 9-over par total of 1,074. Rounding out USD scoring was Alex Ching (T23 at 222; 72-73-77), Scott Brace (T30 at 224; 77-73-74), Manav Shah (T30 at 224; 77-72-75) and Jason Shano (72nd at 239; 79-79-81).
